The world's largest mobile display module production base, invested and constructed by BOE (BOE) on October 13, 2021, is located in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao, covering an area of approximately 800 acres, with a total investment scale of 8.17 billion yuan. This project is a fully automatic module production line, including 3-8-inch mobile display modules, 7-12-inch touch panel controller modules, and 12-17 inch laptop display modules. It is divided into three types of display modules, a-Si, LTPS, and IGZO, with 150 million pieces. The main production is for display components used in small and medium-sized smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other mobile terminals. In the future, it will extend to the production of mobile phone whole machines and equipment self-made services. The first product is expected to light up in December 2022 and will be fully produced in March 2024.
